Client Onboarding

the 5 Steps we take to make sure our services meet your business needs

Step 1

Fill in the Discovery Form Questionnaire

Using the link below fill in the discovery call questionnaire before you book your discovery call. This allows us to prepare for the discovery call with the details you have given us.

Step 2

Book your discovery call

Using the link below book a 15-minute discovery call at your convenience, this can be done via zoom or telephone. During the discovery call we will go over the information provided, and we will get to know a little bit more about your business. If we believe we would be a good fit for you, we will set up a proposal meeting.

Be prepared before the call and please have certain information to hand:

  • Latest accounts
  • Previous Tax return (Corporation or Self-Assessment)
  • Most recent VAT return
  • Information on your payroll, employees and pension scheme

Step 3

Proposal Meeting

After the discovery call, we will assess the information we have gathered to prepare for your proposal meeting. During the meeting we will show you how we can help your business moving forward and how we can tackle the challenges you are facing. We will discuss fees using our pricing structure and go through any services you may or may not want. A final proposal will be generated, which is done under minutes.

We will leave you as much time as you need to decide if you wish to sign later. Some clients will want to get up and running as soon as possible so they sign up during the proposal meeting, but there is no pressure to do so.

Step 4

Client Portal Registration

If you wish to join OCM Accounting, a link will be available to set up a direct debit and to register for the client portal. A link via mobile or email will also be sent for you to complete identity checks.

On registration a letter of engagement will need to be signed from you, along with our terms and conditions, this is all done digitally. If any information is still needed, we will send you a form having any details we have not discussed.

Step 5

Completion of Onboarding

Once everything is signed and your identity checks have been passed, onboarding is then complete.

Client Portal

We have introduced a new GDPR safe client portal, where all your paperwork will organised and stored safely. Alternately you can bring in your paperwork where we can scan and upload your documents to the portal, but an administrative fee will be included. We also request any paperwork/information using the portal where a notification will be sent to you.

The portal allows you to see any HMRC and Companies House deadlines for your business. Another feature of the client portal is that you can sign off your accounts anywhere at any time using the e-signature function
